Absolutely. Every document you upload is stored in an isolated environment specific to your project. Data is never shared between projects, even within the same account. All storage is encrypted at rest with AES-256.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Docurest never uses your content to train any AI model. The LLM providers we integrate with (via their API) have explicit zero-training policies — your data is processed for inference only and never retained for model improvement.

What happens to my files after processing?

Your original files are chunked and embedded into vector storage for retrieval. You can delete original files at any time from your dashboard. Embeddings are scoped to your project and cannot be reverse-engineered back to the original content.
